音楽家/音響空間作家
ロックバンド活動後、音楽大学でポップスからアカデミックに渡る創作技法を学ぶ。2007年よりサウンドアート/現代アートの分野で活動を開始。ミュージックコンクレートの現在形であるアクースマティック音楽を元にした音響芸術作品を創作する。
雰囲気として感じ取れる音楽や音響、映像と光、空間と記憶など、"あらゆる感覚的な要素"を素材として時間軸上で展開している。
自身の幼児期から現在までの体験や経験、音との記憶などパーソナルな衝動を創作の動機に求め、その表現の領域を広げている。
Born in 1983, in Sendai, Japan. Oikawa started music composition using
computer software in 2003 and now works on sound-art works based on
‘acousmatic-music’, a contemporary form of ‘musique concrete’. Descriptions for
his highly characteristic sounds include ‘transparent like dense air’ and
‘highly sensitive to contemporary trend, at the same time being faithful
to the sensitivity of his own’.
